About:

We LOVE children at Gospel! Our Children's Ministry is led by Kristy Hazelwood, our Children's Director. We teach children God's Word, on their level, hoping to evangelize them and help them to grow and mature in Christ.

Safety and Security:

• Check-In and Pick-Up: When checking your child into his or her classroom, one security badge will be given to you and another will be attached to your child. You must present this badge when picking up your child at the end of the service. If you lose your security badge, you will need to provide additional identification.

• If this is your first Sunday with us, fill out your information ahead of time so that check in is a breeze. 

• If your child needs you during the service (illness, excessive crying, etc.), we have a texting system in place so that you can be informed while you are attending the service.

• A security team is present at every service that consists of staff, volunteers, and police officers. A screening process, which includes a background check, is implemented for all volunteers before they are allowed to serve in our children’s ministry.

Activities:

Vacation Bible School is a vital part of our outreach ministry for children each summer. Our children enjoy singing in our children's and junior choirs. Some other children's ministry activities include: Summer camp, Easter Celebration, Kite Saturday, Bowling, Bike Rodeo, Hiking, Parties, Fall Festival, making Fruit Baskets for our shut-ins, etc.
