Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, nurturing and Christ centered environment for school-aged children.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
School Days: 2:30pm - 6:00pm
Full Days: 7:00am - 6:00pm
Our program is held on the campus of Gospel Baptist Church with access to a spacious homework room, a full size gymnasium, hiking trails and an outdoor playground. Children are given a snack and quiet time to work on their homework and assignments. Our summer program consists of theme weeks loaded with fun activities and field trips to entertain your child's imagination and to provide a new exciting atmosphere on a weekly basis.
There is a $50.00 registration fee per family that is due with your completed registration form.
There is an additional activity fee that covers all summer field trips. The summer activity fee will be listed in our summer calendar. We do schedule occasional field trips for full days during the school year and their costs are posted in advance for parents.
$10.00 daily (with a weekly minimum of $30.00). If a weekly payment is not received on the first day that your child attends for the week, a $5.00 late fee will be added to your account.
FULL DAY RATES:
$25.00 daily (with a weekly minimum of $75.00). If a payment is not received on the first day that your child attends for the week, a $5.00 late fee will be added to your account.
You will not be charged for scheduled absences if we receive a one week (7 day) notice of the absence. However, if your child will be absent more than 2 days out of a week then you will still be charged the weekly minimum of $30.00 weekly for afterschool or $75.00 weekly for full days. If a child is absent without a one week (7 day) notice, you will be charged the full price for that day.
If weekly payment is not received on the first day that your child attends for the week, a $5.00 late fee will be added to your account. If an account is three weeks behind a child will not be able to return until the account has been paid in full.
Your child may be picked up any time before 6:00pm. Please notify us on full days if you intend on picking your child up early, so that our staff can plan the daily activities accordingly. Parents are not asked to sign a child out (we prefer our staff to see each individual adult that is picking up a child and then our staff will record the necessary information). Parents may drop off children without entering our facility but are asked to wait until your child has entered the building before leaving (there is a door bell located at the GAP entrance on the south end of the building). Doors remain locked at all times.
LATE PICK UP:
If your child is picked up after 6:00pm you will be charged a $5.00 late fee for the first 10 minutes and will be charged an additional $1.00 for every 5 minutes thereafter.
Please leave a message (at 336.317.3627) to notify us of your child's absences from school.
We always look to praise a child for good behavior but when necessary our form of discipline is the "time out" method. Time out is always enforced in a loving and explanatory way. In extreme cases, a parent may be contacted to pick up their child or they may receive a behavior notice that explains the behavior that took place.

A holiday schedule is given to parents at the beginning of every school year that lists the days GAP will be closed.
Discounts are given to parents with more than one child in attendance. Please ask for these rates if applicable.
LUNCHES AND SNACKS:
A snack and drink are provided daily for each child. An afternoon snack is provided on afterschool days. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided on full days. Lunches are not provided and must be brought on a daily basis. You are welcome to pack microwave items on days we do not leave campus. No microwave items should be brought on any field trip days.
Each child will have the option of being absent during our summer program for 2 weeks at no charge (as long as we have received the one week, 7 day notice of the absence).
