Children's Easter Celebration

Saturday, April 9th  10am

GBC Children’s Easter Celebration on April 9  for all children grades 5 & under.

The Celebration will start “promptly” at 10:00 with Gospel Magic and puppets!  We plan to finish at 11:00. 

We will start in the auditorium and will finish up outside with egg hunts for all age groups, awards, snacks and fun. 

Night of Choir: Echoes of Easter

Can you hear it? Can you? There’s a faint echo in the air. There’s a sound on the wind. There’s brightness in the night sky. The Sunrise brings a new message of hope and love. The wind brings a sweet fragrance of Resurrection... It's the Echoes of Easter.  The cry “It is Finished!” hung in the air over Calvery as they took the lifeless body of the Savior from the cross. They laid HIM in a borrowed tomb and sealed the tomb with a heavy stone and placed guards at the door. It looked like tragedy and defeat. However, that was not the end of the story.  

 

Though it happened nearly two thousand years ago, like a victorious drumbeat, the message marches down through time. JESUS IS ALIVE!! And so, we celebrate the risen Savior, the one who conquered death, hell, and the grave to bring God’s gift of eternal life to all who believe.

Good Friday Candlelight Communion

This Good Friday you are invited to a community Good Friday Service. This service will be held under candlelight, as we celebrate what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.
