Children's Ministries

Our church operates a vital children's ministry including Sunday School (9:45am Sunday), Children's Church & Junior Church (8:30am & 10:45am Sunday), Kings Kids Wednesday night Bible Club (ages 3 & 4 at 7:00pm), Gospel Explorers Wednesday night Bible Club (ages 5 - grade 2 at 7:00pm) and C.I.A. Conquerors in Action Wednesday night Bible Club (grades 3-5). We teach children God's Word, on their level, hoping to evangelize them and help them to grow and mature in Christ. Vacation Bible School is a vital part of our outreach ministry for children each summer. Our children enjoy singing monthly in our children's church choir and junior church choir. Some of our children's ministry activities include: Summer camp, Kite Saturday, Bowling, Bike Rodeo, Hiking, Parties, Fall Festival, making Fruit Baskets for our shut-ins etc.

Vital Youth Ministries

We have a growing youth ministry here made up of 6th through 12th grade. This ministry includes Sunday School every Sunday at 9:45am. The Middle School meets in room 201 and the High School meets in room 202. The teens also meet every Wednesday night at 6:45pm in the youth room for games and Bible study. The teens are involved every year in various activities and outings as well as summer camp. The youth ministry is led by our youth pastor, Matt Smith. Matt has been the full-time youth pastor here since July 2008. Along with Matt, there are many other volunteers who help every week and are so important to the success of our youth ministry. Our purpose statement: "Vital Youth Ministries exists to reach non-believing students with the gospel, connect them with other Christians, help them grow in Christ-likeness, and serve others through ministry all to glorify God."

Young Adult Ministry

The young adults enjoy their Sunday School class with Tim Varney and Don Reardon teaching. They enjoy some annual outings including going to a Greensboro Baseball game & a picnic at the park with volleyball. These adults also have opportunity for many areas of service.

Covenant Hearts

Covenant Hearts is a fellowship for singles and married couples, with their children between the ages of ~35 to 55. The purpose is to bring together singles and couples, of similiar ages, in a more personal setting to encourage each other through, friendships, fellowship, and faith.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 - Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Various fellowships and outreach projects are scheduled approximately every six weeks throughout the year! Mailings, the church bulletin, and the web site will keep you up to date for all fellowship and service outings.
