OUR MISSION:

Our mission is to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment for school-aged children.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

School Days: 2:30pm - 6:00pm
Holidays, Teacher Workdays and Summer Program: 7:00am - 6:00pm

DAILY ACTIVITIES:

Our program is held on the campus of Gospel Baptist Church with access to a spacious snack and homework room and a full size gymnasium. Children are given a snack and quiet time to work on their homework and reading assignments. A worker is always available to assist a child with their homework. We also provide a variety of activities including crafts, sports, playground, hiking, games and free play. Our summer program consists of theme weeks loaded with fun activities to entertain your child's imagination and chase away any boredom blues.

FEES:

There is a $25.00 registration fee per family that is due with your completed registration form.

FIELD TRIPS:

There is an additional activity fee that covers summer field trips. You will be notified of the fee through our summer camp calendar. We do schedule occasional field trips for full days during the school year and their costs are posted in advance for parents.

AFTERSCHOOL RATES:

$10.00 daily or $45.00 weekly (if paid in advance for a full week). The discount does not apply if your child is not in attendance for the full week.

FULL DAY RATES:

$20.00 daily or $90.00 weekly (if paid in advance for a full week). The discount does not apply if your child is not in attendance for the full week. You will be charged for a full day if your child is in attendance for more than 4 hours. These rates apply to teacher workdays, holidays and our summer program. If we are notified 1 week in advance you will not be charged for absences (family vacations... etc). Payments must be received by the first day of the week that your child is in attendance.

LATE FEES:

If your child is picked up after 6:00pm you will be charged $5.00. You will be charged an additional $5.00 for every 10 minutes thereafter.

PICK UP:

You may pick your child up anytime before 6:00pm. Please notify us on full days of your intended pick up time, so that our staff can plan the daily activities accordingly.

SCHOOL ABSENCES:

Please leave a message (at 317-3627) to notify us of your child's absences from school before 1:30pm. Please notify us ASAP for absences from our summer program.

DISCIPLINE:

We always look to praise a child for good behavior but when necessary our form of discipline is the "time out" method. Time out is always enforced in a loving and explanatory way. In extreme cases, a parent may be contacted to pick up their child. An incentive program is used during our summer program to encourage good behavior.

HOLIDAYS:

We will be closed Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Day, Easter, Memorial Day and July 4th.

DISCOUNTS:

Discounts are given to parents with more than one child in attendance. Please ask for these rates if applicable.

LUNCHES AND SNACKS:

A snack and drink are provided daily for each child. An afternoon snack is provided on afterschool days and both a morning and afternoon snack is provided on full days. Lunches are not provided and must be brought in on a daily basis. You are welcome to pack microwave items. Teachers will prepare microwave items for the children.

SUMMER PROGRAM:

Our summer program consists of exciting theme weeks such as "Holiday Week", "It's All Ball Week", "Saddle Up Week", "Spirit Week", "Fit and Fun Week", "H2O 4 U Week", and our most requested "Look Who's Cooking Week", plus many more! We also enjoy leaving campus for weekly fieldtrips. We usually average about two fieldtrips per week.
